Going to Indiaaaa in 12 hrsss

Yeah ,, I dont know what I am doing here tonight. The only thing I remember is that I can hardly sleep. There may be many reasons for this. In few days I met some interesting people. Sigh!.. Then Going to home after a long time. Yes this is really critical. There are these things I need to focus on and I think I am pretty much in a good shape as I remeber.

Any way leave that I am slowly getting ready for the sleeppp....This was funny thing happened today. I was calling India and my uncle asked me a Cooling Glass or shades how ever u want to call it. And to my surprise I found one thing with in my budget. This is some kind of stupid thing I guess, I am not here for visiting or earning lot of bucks to buy Ray Ban or Oakley gallses for every one. And I can hardly purchase andy thing which is totally below the parrr..

Hmm I got some thing and hopefully its makes him hapy. WTF I dont care anyway....

Its just for my mother she asked me to buy that and I am doing that for her.. Pretty much simplifies the whole issue..

Ok will try to write some thing on my way to India

North west is full of shit

This is really funny. One of my friend is flying to India today. Yes from America. A journey to be nearly 20 hrs in flight. He being not like other people was right and not following the IST aka (Indian Standard Time) I hope any one attend Indian functions / events need no further explanantion I guess..

Ok let me cut the crap and tell the story.
My friend is going to India. He went to catch his flight in the morning with Northwest. He was there in the terminal 1:30 hrs before the departure time though being busy with the last minute packing and stuff he was kind of tired it seems. The event start like this, Being frustrated waiting in the damn queue or out of excitement in going home for his sisters marriage he is going to ask the flight attendent about the flights departure , She says no. Sigh! again he is back in the chair. After another 20 or so minutes he is again there . This time a big no. From her tone he is assuming a long delay and my friend is going to small nap. But unfortunately the nap wasnt small as he wanted to be and he wake up exactly after 30 mins the flight left..

Here comes the real story. He is leaving from Minneapolis and the flight is by 5 pm or so it seems. He is going to the Northwest (Will say more ) the flight people to speak about this. And politely (I mean it ) explains the situations. Apprently some jerk in the North west airlines customer care says no and says that since he miss the one leg of the flight all the route including the returns are cancelled. WTF,he was also willing to shed more money which he needed to go to Minneapolis to make it. But these crappy people in the airlines say a Big no. (Dont u wonder why North west is in Bankruptcy. I dont know who ever is the CEO or what the employees typically one Ms Andrea is the worst customer care represntive any one can witness. Dont tell me that missing flight is some thing extra ordinary every one does thsi here man. I dont know why it matters with my friend and the reason she give was such a lame one that they are not taking responsibility bcos its purchased for a lower price. What you guys call it now..

I had been to Nortwest many time and I dont think the prices and services and really worth. What they will give you any way is peanuts for six hours travel (Read Tampa to California).

However he is a lucky chap even after shedding some money he is leaving to India tomorrow to make to his sister marriage. Thanks to Anita our agent (Amrita Travels). We are really gald that she was there and she did an amazing job by gusing through the entire process. I will recommed this to any one . There number is 972- 231-7993. Great service man.

The about Northwest please think twice and if you are not travelling through this probably you are making a right decision. Human beings are so random and there is so much stochasticity in this world. So Why to take a bet Think Twice..

This link may be your interest for a say South west Bankruptcy . There is no way that this company can survice unless it changes its customer attitude.. People wont take random crap you know

Going home Next week.. Sunday the Dec 11th

The entire event is really inspiring and being in home after 1.5 years ( I cant even imagine how I did this). America is like that. Hardly people remeber the days which eventually give away for weeks, Months, Years and more to follow.

I was planning to sty in London and in Sri Lanka on my way home. But some things make me realise that it is not probably worth paying 100 USD for UK Visa.. I will rather go there in Spring break I guess. Then Sri Lanka Colombo is more or less like India I heard so there is no incentive for me to being there.

U know recently these bloody people reduced the luggage from 70 pounds to 50 pounds / bag. This is bll shit. What we can get to home is choclates and it weighs amazingly heavy. Then being a student that all what I may be able to afford any way.

I tried to get some designer wares and all. But its damn freaking expensive so that I can buy the cosmetics for entire family members for the price I pay here.

So there waits my family for me being there and I am in the middle of these bllody exams coming in. Now a days I am not even feeling like doing anything. Just close my eyes and what all I remember is just home,,,Sweet home..

May be there lies some idea with you. Harness it dont rush it..

I slept night with some thoughts. Why shouldnt we start some thing. Yesterday I got a chance to talk with some really important people. I really these people have a sense of whats going on and they are great.

They ashares the same Idea. Suppose, if you pass a survey in Yahoo! Microsoft or Google. Since people think on these lines its necessary believe we better discuss these ones.

As I know many people in these Big Giant Companies are having real Enterpreneur ambitions. Thats great. After all the culture of this country supports the Enterpreneurs and Wanna bes.

I am sad to see this. Many new start ups typically so called Web 2.0 they are thinking about just not anything but Cash flows. As I mentioned before here. What you need is functionality a good technology or platform and everything follows. Cash flows will / should be always the next big thing to pursue a technology rather than passion assosiated with.

Google doesnt have a Business plan even after 3 years of it launch. What people think in this world I dont know. Here said John Battelle and Jeremy Zawondy Nothing can make or men Billions overnight. Hard but mere FACT my friend.

So gather your thoughts coming out with a sleek and cool product and you are all set. Everything follows. VCs, Angels, Mergers, Acquisitions,IPOs and what else you can think for. So that said AIM HIGH.....Read this article from Goolges Marrisa Mayer. Apparenttly she is a great looking young lady. Thats said I am sure you visit the photo...

My parents warned me about this

There are many incentive to join in a Big company. This is great. Working in google has great incentives. Many of my friends who don know what is C++ is working in It companies. He even asked me whether its writing the exam 2 times. What the hell should I say. Now doing great. Apparently he is hooked up with a girl in his wipro office , Bangalore.

I was just kidding. Infact I am really curious about this girl joined in google for surfing and writing hell of a Cover letter. No its a no brainer.. She is from Tol notch university Cal Berkley. And there are no traces about here while googleing.

Reecently I heard news about a guy sending real life size poster to Microsoft. So get ready google. You will be soon recieveing Giant resumes and funny wierd letters. I know many people will do anything to get in to google. Apparently I am one among those. Sigh!

Want a job in google

Want a job in google. Try some thing bloody different and Google is going to take that. Its has been a very very interesting read. A girl who got in to google just by buyingthe T shirt. Amsing read it here

Strategic Market Assesment

This class Strategic Market assesment is really good.Apparently many people know this I guess. Unless how can it win the National Award for best course in Enterpreneurship. The way these people think is far beyond my imagination. Even though I had been known as a Nerd which i am a bit proud of,I wanted to belong these category. Read Dr Fountain The link above directs you to his CV. Man amazing being a part of 7 start up and taking 4 to public aint kidding.

Then the energy and enthusiasm is really worth admiring. Apparently I heard that he own millions of dollars in Stocks and in USD and he does teaching for fun. Wuite admiring isnt it.

The Proff Greg Henley from stern is also really nice person. This center for enterprenurship is really going to be good.

What more ..I know I am totally away from subject. Which more happen now a days. Reading too much is not a problem I guess.

ok cutting the crap

I am writing a paper A market assessment for so called Company from USF Patents and Trade marks office. The technology aint great. But the market is. I am supposed to write an Exit strategy and market implementation for this research / Patented project. I know that this company isnt going to take off. But the pleasure of understanding and reading behind the tech aspect is thrilling.

I may post the final draft if its really worth for you. In the mean time getting back to my workk.....Final week.

It has been a Mistake

I kind of realising it slowly..

Yeah I did a small mistake my mentioning some thing about some one. But I never was aware about things getting across the borders so fast.

But what once happened is happened, I want a come back. Let us c how is it going to be..

I think its good and worth a look

Your Career Type: Enterprising

You are engertic, ambitious, and sociable.
Your talents lie in politics, leading people, and selling things or ideas.

You would make an excellent:

Auctioneer - Bank President - City Manager - Judge - Lawyer
Recreation Leader - Real Estate Agent - Scientist-
School Principal - Travel Agent - TV Newscaster

I will say that I was totally stunnned by the results. I think it is some what correct in my case. I will be making an excellent ban president No doubt about that . Judge , Lawyer, Probably its not possible unless i hire some one who can do well since my career has been changed. But I respect or being in that one ..

Scientist probably because of my interest in Quants would have helped me in become one. Real estate Agent. Needless to say. I dont kow how they figure it out. My father is one. And I think with the enterprising skill I will be a Donald trump.

School principal was a wronh chance unless I am retired same with the TV news castor. I cant do bull shit, and I dont take bull shit. Only facts or numbers please me.

But I am satisfied as a all since they categorised me as Enterprisiing may be you want to know yours click here

What if there is no proof for inituition?

I know it has been around for a while. But some how its making more sense to me now a days.I was reading an interesting article by Dr John Forbes Nash ( American Nobel price winner). His Game theory for the games with independent payy offs are simply great.

I was really fascinated by the theory and it lead me to think a little bit more. Infact I was trying to find startegies for solving the prisonners Dilemma. I kind of ok with his theory of better off. But being a person totally optimistic. I dont mind taking chance wins and I kind of got it right.

I defeated the computer whenever it uses the strategy . Golden rule , Brazen rule and Iron rule..

Some times its inituition which reaps reward. Not all theories are build based on solid proofs.I like my research because its subjective to objective transistion. Rather than dry numbers.

I know that geeky community ( Holy geekery society ) doesnt accept anything with out proofs.Yeah they are trained to be like that.I dont blame them..

But intuition can any one proof that. The best debating society will be a mixture of humanities and IEEE.. May be that wont be happening till the day of blue moon..

Update: I did find some thing if that nature . They calls it as Human Computer interaction.. But far away from what i think it is..

Conversion rate and it after effects

Ha ha Happy about this in person...

1 U.S. dollar = 45.7649148 Indian rupee

Disclaimer ( Susseptible to change).. As of Nov 21 1:26 pm EST...

I think this one is good.. Eventhough I dont have so much left with me..

Any way I will get some extra mileage if it remains the same during my India trip..

Hope it hit all heights from Dec 11 to jan 7th..

A stronger dollar is not only good for me . But for India too which drives foriegn investment like anything. No Indin people wanted to invest when the dollar is trading in 42s .. Hope it makes sense.. Comments are welcome .Any comment will be refered through Indutrial analyst article proving the concept...

Stronger dollar is good for India .....

Dont Do Evil...

This weekend was really kind of dull for me. Even though it might seems to be a lot for many. Yeah all my proffesors are in Informs conference . San Fracisco.

So I am kind of "Dont do evil" now a days and there are many reasons behind that. Dont you suspect Google's amazing success is one behind this. Even though it is quite a motivation. After all its trading USD 403.26 as of Nov 21 11:23 am EST.What am amzing growth from USD 100 an year before.. 4 times or more considering the returns.

I envy all the directors in the Googleplex.Who know may be I can become one soon. Sigh!

I was reading a lot of article in Sunday espesially regarding the VCs and the Angel investors. I think this one is wuite a collection for my readers across the globe Venture capitalist. I think this site is the best collection for any one who is aspiring to become one.

All the materials are coming from leader of the industry..

Then I went to movie Chathupottu Cool one from Dileep.I start loving his I think.

I dont know what is going around. Suddnely more calls. I really dont want to hurt any one.

Be nice and of course Dont do evil..

Getting ready to go home and I am still thinking and thinking and dreaming all about it.

My friend landed in a Job

I may not be having many years experience and the intellectual capabilities of people who read this blog. But you can pass your comment on this thoughts

I know this friend when I was doing my United Nations Internship. He is a really enthusiastic guy with lot of energy and person with great helping mind.
Yesterday he called me up and said that he got a job with Deloitte. I am realy happy for him. And infact I wasnt surprised. Its what he wanted to do for a long time I know him and he never hesitated to pursue his dreams.

The moral I learned is this one..

Irrespective of what you are.Its what you think you are going to be.Never restrict yourself through thinking , The friend I talk about may not be the best in accounting capabilities but he is amazing in his way of thinking and I bet he will add a lot to the company. Instead of any ones background no one should restrict themselves in thinking.I heard him talking about all the big companies all the time. I am sure that he had gone through hell a lot of comments and other stuffs. But when he have this offer letter this feeling is it what it counts.

Congrats my dear friend. All my prayers for you.

The books I am reading.....

Yeah , I really understand that this is so difficult typically when there are more things you wanted to do.Read course works ,Research , Projects and India trip.

But I am really in love with this book. " The monk who sold his ferrari" Yeah this book is some thing really cool. Those who know about the book can understand what I am talking.
Everyone loves a good fable, and this is certainly one. The protagonist is Julian Mantle, a high-profile attorney with a whacked-out schedule and a shameful set of spiritual priorities. Of course it takes a crisis (heart attack) to give Mantle pause. And pause he does--suddenly selling all his beloved possessions to trek India in pursuit of a meaningful existence. The Himalayan gurus along the way give simple advice, such as, "What lies behind you and what lies before you is nothing compared to what lies within you." Yet it is easy to forgive the story's simplicity because each kernel of wisdom is framed to address the persistent angst of Western white-collar professionals. --Gail Hudson--This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

--Paulo Coelho, author of The Alchemist
"A captivating story that teaches as it delights

The the other one is Trump Strategy for Real estate .. I really dont want to read this book. I want to study this book. Very cool one.

Then here comes the the Warren buffet Whatver you say its a great hand book those who want to learn the big business...

Life and Americans....

Thanks to karthikeyan Arumugham who is my seniour in Amrita instt for forwarding this wonderful and meaningful story.

A boat docked in a tiny Mexican village.
An American tourist complimented the Mexican fisherman on the quality of
his fish and asked how long it took him to catch them.

"Not very long," answered the Mexican.

"But then, why didn't you stay out longer and catch more?" asked the
American.

The Mexican explained that his small catch was sufficient to meet his needs
and those of his family.

The American asked, "But what do you do with the rest of your time?"
"I sleep late, fish a little, play with my children, and take a siesta with
my wife. In the evenings, I go into the village to see my friends, play the guitar,
and sing a few songs...

I have a full life."

The American interrupted, "I have an MBA from Harvard, and I can help you!

You should start by fishing longer every day. You can then sell the extra
fish you catch.
With the extra revenue, you can buy a bigger boat."

"And after that?" asked the Mexican.

"With the extra money the larger boat will bring, you can buy a second one
and a third one and so on until you have an entire fleet of trawlers.
Instead of selling your fish to a middle man, you can then negotiate
directly with the processing plants and maybe even open your own plant.
You can then leave this little village and move to Mexico City, Los
Angeles, or even New York City! From there you can direct your huge new
enterprise."

"How long would that take?" asked the Mexican.

"Twenty, perhaps twenty-five years," replied the American.

"And after that?"

"Afterwards? Well my Friend, That's when it gets really
interesting," answered the American, laughing. "When your
business gets really big, you can start selling stocks and make
millions!"

"Millions? Really? And after that?" said the Mexican.

"After that you'll be able to retire, live in a tiny village near the
coast, sleep late, play with your children, catch a few fish, take a siesta
with your wife and spend your evenings
doing what you like and enjoying your friends."

that what exactly am doing now." said the Mexican..

You know what I am taking right its for you to decide the moral of the story...

Happy Diwali Wishes..

May this Diwali light up all your dreams aspirations and everything you want

Ok this is for my International friends those who are less aware of what the Diwali is all about.

I say and remember Diwali as the festival of lights and sweets and crackers. I remeber my father distributing sweet packets to all our family business friends and relatives. Then we will go to buy some crackers I everytime burn my finger some how.

Ok read about diwali below

Story Behind Diwali

Significance
It is celebrated by Hindus all over the world, every year. On the day of Dipavali, old and young, rich and poor wear new dresses and share sweets. They also burn fire crackers. The North Indian business community starts their financial new year on Dipavali and new account books are opened on this day.

There are two mythological legends associated with Dipavali. The first Dipavali was held to celebrate the return of the Rama, King of Ayodhya, his wife Sita and brother Lakshmana to Koshala after a war in which he killed the demon Ravana. It was getting dark, so people along the way lit oil lamps to light their way. Second, it commemorates the killing of Narakasura, an evil demon by Lord Krishna. So Dipavali is a festival symbolising the destruction of evil forces

Blogging policies I follow

This blog and its attributed are credited to Philipp Lensen his blog can be reached through here Blog Outer Court

This one is about the tust worthiness of the News I am publsihing ...

Yes, I think I am trustworthy. I follow several principles to be trustworthy:

- I publish my full name, home address, ungarbled email, and photo on my blog
- Every post has a permanent link with a full date and my name below the post
- All posts can be commented on for corrections or feedback
- If I change a post (and it's more than a simple corrected typo) I will make it clear what has been changed either by using the HTML elements [del] / [ins] which were made for that cause, or by posting an update at the end of a post(which is flagged as such), or by making sure the comments contain the information on the change.
This way, I won't report on X, have people link to it saying I reported X, and then change my post to Y, as that would hurt the blogspace discussion.
- I don't report rumors as facts, and I always state who said what (e.g. by naming the full name -- I prefer linking to people who write using their full name -- or by linking to the source). I avoid "Some say..." or "Some people argue..." when I don't have a link ready to accompany this. When I report on a rumor I clearly mark it as such and end the post's title with a question mark (like "New Google Service XYZ?")
and I mention the word "rumor" or similar in the post.
- I come up in official news aggregators such as Google News and am mentioned in other blogs and mainstream news sources.
- I am always available to be contacted and discuss a story, and also, I publish arguments which are against my posts so the other side gets their point of view be seen as well.
- I keep on posting on a daily basis and there is a trustworthy community building around the blog.
- When I did make an error in a post, I clear it up by posting an update. I don't try to hide this error but make clear that I did it.
When the post is very fresh and I find out it covers a hoax (even when I warned it might be a hoax or rumor), I rarely remove the post completely; if I do so, I post the full text of the original post in the blog's forum as reference that it was online.

So I think these policies are far better than any News Papers and official sites. They dont even care to talk about the source where they found the article.

Times Square New Year 2005 videos..its me there

New Year in Times Square New York. This is really cool. The Times Square will be crowded so much that not even the native people will be able to see what is going there. There will be more than a million people extending from 42 street to 59 street(Central park) on the either side of the road trying to get a glimpse of the New Year ball dropping.

My Boss's Daughter

Yesterday I met a very special person, a cute, charming, intelligent and talkitive girl. Incidently she is my Boss's daughter, it was around 5.20 PM, and the boss called me upstairs in the cafeteria. He introduced me to her, and she already knew who I was, maybe he had told her about me beforehand. Then the boss left for some work, and for a period of around 40 minutes we were together.

People were staring, many came to ask who she was, but she had this exclusivity of attention towards me. Whenever anyone else came, she became silent to ward people off, but when together she talked about so many things about her friends and herself. That cherubic smile held me wondering, and I had never got so much attention from anyone. She listened intently to every word I spoke, and caught me fumbling too.

It was a special evening, too bad that I had to leave early for home around 6.15 pm, I just didn't wish to but snarls were warning me already. This 6 year old girl had held me spellbound with her smile and stories, now I know why my Boss is always in a good mood, with such a bundle of joy at home no one can ever get stressed....

I just hope she might have told about me to her friends at school, just the way she told about her school friends to me.

Top 7 Tricks For Getting an Interview

This is brilliant.. Top 7 tricks for getting your resume to hiring manager.

I dont quite agree with the 5th tip though..

Let me paste the stuff down for you or you can read from the Website

Top 7 Tricks For Getting an Interview

Ok, you've tried everything - You're emailed your resume out, you've used a resume distribution company, etc..... And no one is calling you back. Its ok, you're not alone. For every 100 resumes you mail out, statistically you should get 10 interviews and one job offer. However, these are rough averages. To stack the decks in your favor and stand out from the others, below are the top seven tricks we've found for getting your resume to stand out.

1.) Use a different color paper for mailing your resumes. Chances are, you're using a cream, white, or gray paper color. Yes? So is everyone else. Be creative, and use a non-resume paper. Be original, and stand out. With that said, should you use hot pink? No, remember you're applying for a professional career - but do choose something less common than white, cream, or gray.

2.) Use a different size paper for your resume. Why you ask? Have you ever shuffled a stack of papers. Do you ever have one/a few pieces of paper that your shuffling are a different size than the others. They stand out right? Of course they do, they stand out from the rest - it's simple, but it does make your resume stand out.

3.) Inside contact - If you're interested in a specific company, get an inside contact. This means proactively trying to meet someone from the company, or a friend of a friend situation. People hire people they know - its comfortable. Therefore, do whatever it takes to get an inside contact.

4.) Certified Letter - Have you ever sent a certified letter? All it requires is going to the post office, and paying a few dollars to send it certified with confirmation. This means that the recipient of the letter must sign for it. And I'll bet that they'll sign - they're curious, and want to know what it is. By sending it certified to the hiring manager, you're insuring that your letter has reached its destination - it has reached the hiring manager. This is a huge plus, as usually the hiring manager's mail is filtered through a number of gate keepers.

I am not for this one though

5.) Send your resume with a gift. Yes, a gift. Head over to the local florist, pizza place, etc - get creative. Pick out a nice bouquet or lunch, and deliver it to the office with your resume. If you do the pizza, here's a tip - put your resume in a zip lock bag and tape it to the inside of the box.

6.) Deliver the resume in person. What do you have to lose? Walk into the office, and ask for the hiring manager (by name). Just say you need to discuss the current job opening with him. Sound crazy? It works - they will see you as being determined, proactive, and outgoing.

This one is really cool and may be working ....

7.) The post-it note trick. In larger companies (and sometimes in medium/smaller companies) a secretary or an office assistant will open the resumes for the employees. This person is responsible for screening for junk mail and to weed out non-qualified candidates. Therefore, here is the trick. Take a regular Post-it note, and write something like "This one looks good! - J", and attach it to your resume. Who is "J"? Who cares! The point is that the hiring manager will get a resume with a Post-it note on it, stating that it's good. Therefore, they are more likely to pay close attention to the resume at the direction of another employee. By the time the person realizes its not a note from their mail screener, you've already gotten your resume reviewed - is it deceptive? - no, its effective and innovative advertising.

What u learn in Business Schools

This one I found interesting

1 - A dollar today is worth more than a dollar tomorrow

2 - You will make more money if you take more risk

3 - You can value an asset if you know its cash flows, the timing of them, and
can quantify the risks of acheiving those cash flows

4 - Markets are made up of speculators and hedgers.

5 - The best price to sell something isn't always the lowest price.

Deals in India.. What is going on there.

I sincerely wish I am the one who behind all these deals. I wish I could work with a consulting firm and do all the bloody hell of deals in the world. It is such a passionate job. Its just like helping the corporations to get married, Any way marriages are such a graceful and happy occasion. I understood that the companies get married for strategies and share prices (Dowry) they marry not because they love each other but to prevent some big ones exploiting small ones.

I dont want this one to be a startgey blog explaning all these stuffs. But u can read more what I am talking about in this.. Deals in India (World) M & A.

Back to this blog ...The real intentionsss

I understand that the infulence of my thoughts on the other side of wall is gaining much more strength...

Back to this blogs real intention...

Few weeks has been passed since I mention something about what is going in my real life.. Yeah there is not much happening now a days. Thats why I am kind of mumbling around with out words and all..

My fridays are usual i will leave by 5:00 pm here and head to The Claw for a round of Golf. Now I have a lot of friends there waiting for my arrival. I have been commented as the player who makes quick progress (fastest as they say)..

Then about the India trip it is more or less finalised and I am happy that Mr Nan Kong was kind enough to understand my inclination og though towards home.. ( I am paying a hefty sum a flight charges as the decision is made late):)

Then about the Teaching assistant job..Dr McCright is really busy which in turn makes me more busier day after day.Correcting papers will be last thing you wanted to do anyway.

About the Research, Yeah I am making good progress as Dr Kong feels and I hope to complete the degree as fast as possible.. August is the earliest Due to some earlier adventures which I took... ( After all Fou0r months in New York is not bad).

I am the Secretery of Institute of operations Research and Managemsnt science aka INFORMS. I did a good presentation explaining the Mission and Vision of the organisation. Departemnt chair person along with other fellows from the holy geekery community was there.

Then I am planning to visit London on my way back home.Hopefully things should settle for something good and I can reach home as early as possible..2 Days in London is after all not a very bad Idea. May be I will be staying with friends over there or in some student hostels..Whatever the case may be I firmly believe London is a city worth exploring ..

Being dyslexic and problem or what..

I am tired of hearing that I make a lot of spelling mitsakes. For immortals they describe this as dyslexic. Why not me?. Do you truly think it as a problem. Read more... I found out from my sister that Einstein is dyslexic (Imagine he making spelling mistakes in mass energrgy equation.). May be he landed up in E= MC^2 through this while other people write a b c d ... Whatsoever the case I also found out that beside Einstien, Thomas Edison ( The bulb guy), Leonardo Da Vinci (Monalisa fame), Auguste Rodin, Winston Churchill, Niels Bohr, Michael Faraday (and many other grand philosophers) were dyslexic. Anyway I am not bothred about this henceforth. As its an admirable report for me..

I believe some things better left " Unsaid "

No news cant be bad than this..

Typically if you leaving awaya from family in the middle of nowhere. I need to go home, In this december things have been going in such a good phase. Booking tickets purchasing for home. Confirming and affirming my family , Sister and mother espesially that I am going to spend the christmas and new year with them..

I had been working with my proffesor for my masters thesis. Its kind of unsaid rule that I have to obtain permission from his holliness before leaving, irrespective of his generousity in ur tuition.

I started working with him only after I decided that I go to go home.In a very casual mannner I told him about my desire of leaving home in december for 3 weeks ( Considering the fligh for 5 days it isnt much ) and he told me he cant relieve me now as I have to work towards my thesis..

He doesnt want to know any thing regarding the work I am putting like 16 hrs / day for 6 days. This is Insanse.

update : Eventually I talked to him and he kind of nodded his head to leave me if I can complete a book which is my project is based on and have to read nearly 50 journals...read one IEEE journal and you understand what I am talking about.

I am ready to do whatver in the world to get me back to home... I cant wait any more..After all America is the worst trap ever found for human greed.

Why Katrina and not not jeanu reeves, Why Rita and not Reese witherspoon

Do you ever wonder about the name Katrina , Charlie , Rita and all.. These names sounds good. But u know how dangerous and deadly these names are.. Ask some one in New Orleans or Texas they are going to tell you about it.

If you want to know about it read below ..

Hurricanes names are chosen from a list selected by the World Meteorological Organization. The Atlantic is assigned six lists of names, with one list used each year. Every sixth year, the first list begins again. Each name on the list starts with a different letter, for example, the name of the very first hurricane of the season starts with the letter A, the next starts with the letter B, and so on. The letters "Q", "U", "X", "Y" and "Z", however, are not used.

Often when an unusually destructive hurricane hits, that hurricane's name is retired and never used again. Since 1954, forty names have been retired. In 1996 Hurricane Luis was retired. Is your name among the currently used or retired hurricane names?. Check to look whether your name is in the list..

Transperency please....

I am all for transparency with very very few exception of stuffs concerning my friends.

This blog, my flickr posts, My VC blog , My yahoo 360etc are all about opening up my world, my views, and who I am to everyone so they can make a judgment about me, whether they want to be my friend, share anything with me, or show me the opportunity to learn from them and about their values..

I dislike people who hide their views, dodge questions, and are not open.

It is for this reason that I like extrovert guys.. Yeah the last thing I will do in my life is to go out with some one who is so much in his world....

Who in the world know what conspiracy theory is running on their well seasoned and not channeled minds..

I would like to quote my father here..

Whenever we discuss some thing very general and we share our views. He says this quite often.

" If you see a snake and a person who doesnt open his mouth for whatever reason and you should attack them first and then the snake"...

Then logic is so simple that person is more poisonous than any rattle snake you can find in the world....

The below writing is inspired by A VC blog.. By the way he is great VC and I always respect his views and his way of thinking may be some day I can meet him.. Or make some business deal. If I am lucky enough.

Amazon rocks...

America is a dream land for customers. There was this interesting this happened last week. I am a big fan of John Battelle . I decide to order his new book " The Search ". The topic is some thing what I call as my stuff ( Web technologies ). Anything about Google is not enough for me. The other book in mind was " Startegies for Real Estate " George Ross
An excellent guy who makes what trump is worth of now...

Ok let me get in to real stuff.. I ordered both of these books from Amazon.. Unluckily I didnt recieve the first package they sent me.. What i had to do is to just make a call to Amazon customer care and they promise to send me a new package . Air borne to mention.. What an amazing customer service...I recieved the package too..

I dont know whether this will work in India. But as my intuition tells me. " Any industry customer oriented cant lose "

Its very critical in India as people are making enough money they can afford to spend for service and as i learned in recent days better qality = nothing but low price. ...

There is this idea in my mind that Indian customers deserve the best in the world.. May be they have to wait till I go back and do some stuff for themm..he he

The nuissances to bear beath with....

The credit goes to one India times bloogger ... I forgot copy the source....

The below opinion is not mine just I found the way of writing interesting...

The girl climbs up from 132 to within the top 50 in world tennis rankings this year.

And becomes the first Indian woman to reach the 4th round of a grand slam... an achievement we are all proud of.

But some jerks decide that the only thing that they need to pay attention to is the "inappropriate attire" she is wearing!!! Why don't such assholes just go and quarantine themselves in a mental asylum (and be subjected to a few thousand volts of electricity everyday just for the fun of it).

So unbelievably irritating!!!!!!!!!!

Whats with you North Indian Gals??

This is not my opinion but some one from India times .. I found this pretty interesting ....

Whats with you North Indian Gals??
This is for all the NORTH INDIAN FAIR SKANKS!! - who take away ALL OUR SOUTH-INDIAN DECENT N WELL EDUCATED BOYS!!!

I am sorry if I sound angry and agitated! But ist true!! .........These northies, who are all beauty and no brains, attract all our South boys (Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra) o god..........all of it!!! There have been three instances i can remember:

1) My cousin sister who is a doctor got her marriage fixed with this sweet doctor Andhrite boy, two months later she shows up with a northie, beautiful, smooth skin and a F-ing TEACHER!! she was a teacher - how much brains do you need for that! butr oh yeah, she was FUNNY as he claimed and of course would drop down on her knees and suck him to glory! which us southies wont do because we repect ourselves.

2) THREE of my close cousin brothers have all married north girls, not just north-east b ut north-west! Why?? because they were all dress designers or “fashion consultants” (where is the brains in that??) and came with truckloads of dowry because all their dads were rich businessman, not servicemen like our engineer fathers.

3) This guy who I have liked for three years, we studied engineering together in the same college. Final year, i thought he would ask to go steady because we studied together, spoke the same language and liked the same things (isnt that enuf reason for us to hook up??). But he goes off and proposes to a north indian girl! why? i dont know, she is a commerce major, ok good there! but wears skanky clothes! skirts that i would wear as bandanas! just because she is sweet and looks like the next femina girl does not mean she knows everything about him. what he likes, dislieks, how to communicate with his parents in kannada? how to teach his kids kannada! and how to carry on the same values! Im deeply upset but more angry

cant these northies stick to their own clan? man some punjabi guys are hot as hell, but i dont go for that because i know to stick to my guns. why cant some northies do that? keep their skanky paws off our local decent boys! i know its their tanned skin colour, but theres more to them and these skanks will NEVER know! And alll our south boys need to act straight and realise that life is more than skin deep and stop being traitors!!

Bye.

Onam festival a small treat

Friday we went o One Italina restaurant Maggiano this was good thugh.. there we met shelton Randolph and with pius and Gopan. navin couldnt join us as he was buys with some other personal stufsss...

I cam back by 12 pm and joined with my friends in Campus walk for usual friday nigh event..

Saturday was the Indian Independence day festival and there was the big cultural show and other stuffs.. Which was really good..

Long long labour day weekend

Clear water was good enough. I went for the Jet Skiing stuffs , This one was really good and i really had a nice time doing it. Infact i was really fast and was competing with the proffesional guys over there. As if I were an expert.

From there to Miami

Yep I mean it. This is 3 rd trip in 2 months. Yeah I had fun there. But its too much for me. I am a kind of tired after this trip.Nothing new except an exotic lunch with Lobsters in the Ocean drive and some nice cafeterias in Lincol avenue..

The driving was a fun part. i really enjoyed driving the awesome car i rented .For 4 days 170 dollars is ok for a medium sized car.

Then the entir trip was bloody expensive in terms of food. Blame me for the great straberry shakes and the No mc Donald policy.

Yep the hotel was good next to beach and had some nice experince.

My Child hood games

Thinking about these days make me so happy. I really loved it. I played all the games no one who knows me now even can think about it

I grow up in a pretty big housing colcony called Gandhinager. The address is
EWS 525
Gandhinagar
Kochi -20

Like any other colony it was filled with students of my age +_ 4. This is the first real world known to me other than the anganvadi which I used to go from age 3.As my father was among the early inahitants of that housing colony every one knows him which was good and bad for me which i will tell later....

There were a lot of games I used to play there

I was good player of "Gotis" we call "kachi" aka "rashi". Yes i remember that as the only game which I was passionate about from my kinder garten till i touch the so called high school recall 5th std. Some one used comment about me that Vijay cant sleep unless he have a goti (A small glass made thing used to play games) in his hands. That was my addiction to the game. Infact the two things i remeer doing that age is attending tuition and playing goti. My parents were silently against that game except the good grades i am getting from school.Which always prevet from thir scolding. There are many games using gotis one is Aama, Which is a a rich gotiwala game and seppi with a hole in the square box in the earth and the notorious one was rasi this game has three holes and those who win get the opportunity to beat the other guy with goti on his hand..

Due to hardwork i put on these games i was a master in all these three games using gotis . Its funny to think that even now I have a big bag full of gotis in my home which I proudly take once te remember myslef abou the chivalry playing those games.

As time pass by upper primary school i got in to big guys game thats " Labels " and "Pambaram" .Label "Panni malathu " which my father calls as a miniature ersion of card game is a good game where we have the movie stars like Mohan lal and Mamooty in the labels and we will win if we have the same movies stars . With my uncles son and all I creat startegies for winning the games and was running partnership game a I used to sell labels who loss the game with me which by the end of the day make me rich . Whenver i come home after a saturday or sunday gae rounds I will be having a 5 rupee note tucked inside my trouser pockets . That money I earned will be used to buy lollypops for my partners and small cone ice creams on my long walk to school some what like 2 miles.. My reputation was beyond reach people from nearby housing colonies used to come to house and invite me to play with the, But to very ones surprise I used to win most of the times. B cos of certain tactis i used to have .. I believ I m still not bad with those tactics ...

Then time passed by and when i get in to 7th standard and all I join a new school I was only a distinguished visitor in the arena where they play these games and people viewed me as a veteran I have been denied to play bcos of my expertise in the game..I still have a good collection of 4000 labels which i earned during that period There are some nights which I just awake and watch my earnings with so much proud. That feeling cant be replaced with any one..

Then i got my hands in to some more interesting games like pambharam , Kuttim kolum , Meen piductum, more abt these game later

Criticism.. What I think about

Yeah .. No one likes it in frank.Sometimes there are many arguments that many people like constructive criticism.. Is it true. I dont know yaar. Its like telling a complaint about son to his/ her parents. They will appreciate it for a while But in long run .. U can see that its not like that ..

Work life Balance My experience

This link from Mr Brad Feld is really great.

Work life Balance Yeah a very very important thing to be considered. May be I can put in this way. I know that my father he works hard when he does. But I always prefer to call him as a lazy guy. Some times even I asks him how did u get all this time always go for nomadic trips across North India for 15 to 20 days and some foreign land trips once in a year and all.Thats ok I can understand but he always finds time for hanging out with friends attending marriages traveling 200 miles and taking days off.

This one incident was really eye opening for me. I asked him one day. " Abba why are you taking this many vacations in a month, How did you find all this time rather than working on your business" His answer was some thing like this. " Yes , I did take off . I am doing it for you and family. Its not always business I want to spend time with you and this is my satisfaction " There is always a balance "

I just couldn't understand any thing at that point but when I am here in this far and distant world.I appreciate every second he spends with me .I am more happy this is incidental than accidental. Nothing can be compensated for those moments ..

United States of Andhra Pradesh..Aka Hyderabad United

This has been in my wits from the calendar day I am here. Yeah I would be fond of calling this country as Hyderabad united or US of Andhra Pradesh. The patels and singhs who established there landmark here are yielding to the representation of Andhra people in enormous numbers. I am acknowledged by the fact that all the Andhra people have the same deals anywhere in the USA. Imagine me going through this the same color of bag for the same price in three states. I really wonder BBC and CNN are good enough with in our strong Indian representation of news feeding. Love of mother tongue is really great even a board full of members from various countries can’t prevent two guys speaking in Telugu. Isn’t it great? After all who cares when the major representation is on our side? I believe that N T R will get more votes than Busch and Kerry united provided if eligibility is given to vote. Soon there comes a day in this country which declares Telugu as an official language.

It seems that homecoming people in the state fetches more returns than any one else in the civilization. I heard a recent rumor that 75 lakh to 1 crore is there advertised price. It depends upon the category also the price will be directly proportional to years spend and the green card processing H1, H4, F1 and L1.I heard L1 isn’t much appreciated as there is no assurance. After all the proud fathers of Siri venkatulu , Prathima ramdas, Kothapallu Srivatsas can easily afford that. Dreaming the pleasure of boasting off in the home land. There is no wonder why people are coming here and after all this is there next home land naaa.

Disclaimer: All the aforesaid is my strictly my opinion and no penalties will be paid to any one incurred.

What you doing , Dont you think its time to change the question..

There is an interesting article in the latest Business Week about the downturn in MBA applications and what that means for schools. Apparently the widely accepted cause of the drop in applications is a combination of rising costs, a leveling off in post-MBA salaries, and a reduced dependance on new MBA's in traditional MBA industries (consulting, I-banking, etc.). In other words, people who would have applied for an MBA 5 years ago are now looking at the costs and benefits and deciding to stay where they are and advance within their current company. Generally engineers thinks of finance as not too good field and most of the times don't give respect they deserved for business school students back in India (dont read IIMS in this category).Things are changing . A look back is always good.

I am a person who appreciate smart people any where in the globe. I admire any job based on the person who does that. For me Its all about who is doing it and how he is doing it than what he is doing..Opinions differ

Harry potter what is it man

It’s time for me to write about something that has been bothering me for a long time and I have yet to address. I get sick and tired about hearing about any one subject over and over again without end. Moreover I get sick and tired of people obsessing over that subject and assuming because I do not there is something wrong with me. I don’t think people who aren’t Met fans are crazy, or that people who don’t vote Republican are somehow evil (yet almost defiantly misguided).

Yet every time I tell someone I haven’t read one word of Harry Potter I get a look like I was the second gunman on the grassy null. I am a fan of science fiction and of fantasy in general, but yet cannot find myself the slightest bit interested in this new cult known as Harry Potter. It may be that I am use to going against the grain of society, and therefore I cannot see myself follow the pack and reading something that the entire world is fixated on. But more importantly I see it as an act of not follow the pack of lemmings off the cliff...
