Strategic Market Assesment

This class Strategic Market assesment is really good.Apparently many people know this I guess. Unless how can it win the National Award for best course in Enterpreneurship. The way these people think is far beyond my imagination. Even though I had been known as a Nerd which i am a bit proud of,I wanted to belong these category. Read Dr Fountain The link above directs you to his CV. Man amazing being a part of 7 start up and taking 4 to public aint kidding.

Then the energy and enthusiasm is really worth admiring. Apparently I heard that he own millions of dollars in Stocks and in USD and he does teaching for fun. Wuite admiring isnt it.

The Proff Greg Henley from stern is also really nice person. This center for enterprenurship is really going to be good.

What more ..I know I am totally away from subject. Which more happen now a days. Reading too much is not a problem I guess.

ok cutting the crap

I am writing a paper A market assessment for so called Company from USF Patents and Trade marks office. The technology aint great. But the market is. I am supposed to write an Exit strategy and market implementation for this research / Patented project. I know that this company isnt going to take off. But the pleasure of understanding and reading behind the tech aspect is thrilling.

I may post the final draft if its really worth for you. In the mean time getting back to my workk.....Final week.

It has been a Mistake

I kind of realising it slowly..

Yeah I did a small mistake my mentioning some thing about some one. But I never was aware about things getting across the borders so fast.

But what once happened is happened, I want a come back. Let us c how is it going to be..

I think its good and worth a look

Your Career Type: Enterprising

You are engertic, ambitious, and sociable.
Your talents lie in politics, leading people, and selling things or ideas.

You would make an excellent:

Auctioneer - Bank President - City Manager - Judge - Lawyer
Recreation Leader - Real Estate Agent - Scientist-
School Principal - Travel Agent - TV Newscaster

I will say that I was totally stunnned by the results. I think it is some what correct in my case. I will be making an excellent ban president No doubt about that . Judge , Lawyer, Probably its not possible unless i hire some one who can do well since my career has been changed. But I respect or being in that one ..

Scientist probably because of my interest in Quants would have helped me in become one. Real estate Agent. Needless to say. I dont kow how they figure it out. My father is one. And I think with the enterprising skill I will be a Donald trump.

School principal was a wronh chance unless I am retired same with the TV news castor. I cant do bull shit, and I dont take bull shit. Only facts or numbers please me.

But I am satisfied as a all since they categorised me as Enterprisiing may be you want to know yours click here

What if there is no proof for inituition?

I know it has been around for a while. But some how its making more sense to me now a days.I was reading an interesting article by Dr John Forbes Nash ( American Nobel price winner). His Game theory for the games with independent payy offs are simply great.

I was really fascinated by the theory and it lead me to think a little bit more. Infact I was trying to find startegies for solving the prisonners Dilemma. I kind of ok with his theory of better off. But being a person totally optimistic. I dont mind taking chance wins and I kind of got it right.

I defeated the computer whenever it uses the strategy . Golden rule , Brazen rule and Iron rule..

Some times its inituition which reaps reward. Not all theories are build based on solid proofs.I like my research because its subjective to objective transistion. Rather than dry numbers.

I know that geeky community ( Holy geekery society ) doesnt accept anything with out proofs.Yeah they are trained to be like that.I dont blame them..

But intuition can any one proof that. The best debating society will be a mixture of humanities and IEEE.. May be that wont be happening till the day of blue moon..

Update: I did find some thing if that nature . They calls it as Human Computer interaction.. But far away from what i think it is..

A stronger dollar is not only good for me . But for India too which drives foriegn investment like anything. No Indin people wanted to invest when the dollar is trading in 42s .. Dont Do Evil...

This weekend was really kind of dull for me. Even though it might seems to be a lot for many. Yeah all my proffesors are in Informs conference . San Fracisco.

So I am kind of "Dont do evil" now a days and there are many reasons behind that. Dont you suspect Google's amazing success is one behind this. Even though it is quite a motivation. After all its trading USD 403.26 as of Nov 21 11:23 am EST.What am amzing growth from USD 100 an year before.. 4 times or more considering the returns.

I envy all the directors in the Googleplex.Who know may be I can become one soon. Sigh!

I was reading a lot of article in Sunday espesially regarding the VCs and the Angel investors. I think this one is wuite a collection for my readers across the globe Venture capitalist. I think this site is the best collection for any one who is aspiring to become one.

All the materials are coming from leader of the industry..

Then I went to movie Chathupottu Cool one from Dileep.I start loving his I think.

I dont know what is going around. Suddnely more calls. I really dont want to hurt any one.

Be nice and of course Dont do evil..

Getting ready to go home and I am still thinking and thinking and dreaming all about it.

My friend landed in a Job

I may not be having many years experience and the intellectual capabilities of people who read this blog. But you can pass your comment on this thoughts

I know this friend when I was doing my United Nations Internship. He is a really enthusiastic guy with lot of energy and person with great helping mind.
Yesterday he called me up and said that he got a job with Deloitte. I am realy happy for him. And infact I wasnt surprised. Its what he wanted to do for a long time I know him and he never hesitated to pursue his dreams.

The moral I learned is this one..

Irrespective of what you are.Its what you think you are going to be.Never restrict yourself through thinking , The friend I talk about may not be the best in accounting capabilities but he is amazing in his way of thinking and I bet he will add a lot to the company. Instead of any ones background no one should restrict themselves in thinking.I heard him talking about all the big companies all the time. I am sure that he had gone through hell a lot of comments and other stuffs. But when he have this offer letter this feeling is it what it counts.

Congrats my dear friend. All my prayers for you.

The books I am reading.....

Yeah , I really understand that this is so difficult typically when there are more things you wanted to do.Read course works ,Research , Projects and India trip.

But I am really in love with this book. " The monk who sold his ferrari" Yeah this book is some thing really cool. Those who know about the book can understand what I am talking.
Everyone loves a good fable, and this is certainly one. The protagonist is Julian Mantle, a high-profile attorney with a whacked-out schedule and a shameful set of spiritual priorities. Of course it takes a crisis (heart attack) to give Mantle pause. And pause he does--suddenly selling all his beloved possessions to trek India in pursuit of a meaningful existence. The Himalayan gurus along the way give simple advice, such as, "What lies behind you and what lies before you is nothing compared to what lies within you." Yet it is easy to forgive the story's simplicity because each kernel of wisdom is framed to address the persistent angst of Western white-collar professionals. --Gail Hudson--This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

--Paulo Coelho, author of The Alchemist
"A captivating story that teaches as it delights

The the other one is Trump Strategy for Real estate .. I really dont want to read this book. I want to study this book. Very cool one.

Then here comes the the Warren buffet Whatver you say its a great hand book those who want to learn the big business...

Life and Americans....

Thanks to karthikeyan Arumugham who is my seniour in Amrita instt for forwarding this wonderful and meaningful story.

A boat docked in a tiny Mexican village.
An American tourist complimented the Mexican fisherman on the quality of
his fish and asked how long it took him to catch them.

"Not very long," answered the Mexican.

"But then, why didn't you stay out longer and catch more?" asked the
American.

The Mexican explained that his small catch was sufficient to meet his needs
and those of his family.

The American asked, "But what do you do with the rest of your time?"
"I sleep late, fish a little, play with my children, and take a siesta with
my wife. In the evenings, I go into the village to see my friends, play the guitar,
and sing a few songs...

I have a full life."

The American interrupted, "I have an MBA from Harvard, and I can help you!

You should start by fishing longer every day. You can then sell the extra
fish you catch.
With the extra revenue, you can buy a bigger boat."

"And after that?" asked the Mexican.

"With the extra money the larger boat will bring, you can buy a second one
and a third one and so on until you have an entire fleet of trawlers.
Instead of selling your fish to a middle man, you can then negotiate
directly with the processing plants and maybe even open your own plant.
You can then leave this little village and move to Mexico City, Los
Angeles, or even New York City! From there you can direct your huge new
enterprise."

"How long would that take?" asked the Mexican.

"Twenty, perhaps twenty-five years," replied the American.

"And after that?"

"Afterwards? Well my Friend, That's when it gets really
interesting," answered the American, laughing. "When your
business gets really big, you can start selling stocks and make
millions!"

"Millions? Really? And after that?" said the Mexican.

"After that you'll be able to retire, live in a tiny village near the
coast, sleep late, play with your children, catch a few fish, take a siesta
with your wife and spend your evenings
doing what you like and enjoying your friends."

that what exactly am doing now." said the Mexican..

You know what I am taking right its for you to decide the moral of the story...

Happy Diwali Wishes..

May this Diwali light up all your dreams aspirations and everything you want

Ok this is for my International friends those who are less aware of what the Diwali is all about.

I say and remember Diwali as the festival of lights and sweets and crackers. I remeber my father distributing sweet packets to all our family business friends and relatives. Then we will go to buy some crackers I everytime burn my finger some how.

Ok read about diwali below

Story Behind Diwali

Significance
It is celebrated by Hindus all over the world, every year. On the day of Dipavali, old and young, rich and poor wear new dresses and share sweets. They also burn fire crackers. The North Indian business community starts their financial new year on Dipavali and new account books are opened on this day.

There are two mythological legends associated with Dipavali. The first Dipavali was held to celebrate the return of the Rama, King of Ayodhya, his wife Sita and brother Lakshmana to Koshala after a war in which he killed the demon Ravana. It was getting dark, so people along the way lit oil lamps to light their way. Second, it commemorates the killing of Narakasura, an evil demon by Lord Krishna. So Dipavali is a festival symbolising the destruction of evil forces
